approach
I offer landscape and planting design, plus horticultural expertise and advice for architects, artists and designers who want to create beautiful, sustainable and engaging places that will thrive in challenging places and times.
I’m rooted in sustainable approaches that focus on developing and maintaining resilient ecosystems and soil ecologies that support plants, as well as planting for people, wildlife and changing climate.
I can also advise community groups, charities and private clients on garden, planting and site design.
The last few years have seen me focus on working with communities, developing gardens eg Glengall Wharf Garden and supporting charities develop meanwhile sites eg the Paper Garden.
I am part of the Agroforestry Research Trust consultancy network
